ROCKSTARS

  • Rockstar Peter Jackson

    Coaches Notes:

Peter was referred to me from my client who lives in the Bahamas and trains with me.

He has had chronic Achilles tendinitis but still had the goal of a 1:30 13.1 run.

Since he lives in the Bahamas, we never met in person but virtually for his strength and mobility assessment and his run video analysis.

From here, I gave him the strength and mobility necessary to strengthen his feet and core, manage and reduce his Achilles tendinitis in both ankles, and keep him running faster.

We hit a PR of 1:32 in mid November at the Bahamas 13.1 and we acheived the 1:30 13.1 goal at the Lifetime 13.1 in Miami despite the heat and humidity!

Congratulations Peter- You are a Rockstar Runner. Thanks for choosing Full Circle Coaching and my Running Essentials program to help you reach your dream goal time! Can’t wait to see what challenge you take on next!

    Meet Peter, 35-Year-Old Logistics professional

Why did you choose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

Trained myself for my first Marathon in April 2024, and whilst I was happy with the time, I suffered a couple of injuries along the journey
(hamstring pull + achilles tendonitis). I wanted to achieve a 1:30 half and train in a more sustainable way (injury free), whilst managing achilleas tendonitis.

What is your “A” race for this season?

    Miami Half Marathon, 2025

    What are your BIG goals?

I need to think about my next challenge this year, maybe triathlon or trail running

What were some of your biggest improvements in performance for each of the following? Swim, Bike, Run, and Nutrition/Health. Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved.

    Half marathon:
Started running half marathons in 2022
    2022 I averaged a 7:51 minute/ mile pace
    2023 7:30 Minute/ Mile Pace.

Then in October, 2024 I started working with Full Circle Coaching remotely, as I live in the Bahamas.

Coach Erinne did a virtual video evaluation of both my running technique as well as my strength and mobility from toes to head. I followed her program and we checked in withc coach calls to see how my achilles were doing and any questions I had about the training.

THe result was a new faster 13.1 at the Bahamas half marathon in December running a 7:07 average minute/ mile.

Then a new PR at the Lifetime Miami 13.1 in January- finally hitting my goal of a 1:30 13.1 with an average of 6:52 minute/ mile!

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey

    Intervals, stretching and foot strength

  • Ironman Success Story: How Kim Crushed Her First Full Ironman

    Coaches Notes:

Kim and I go way back but had not trained together for a few years. In the years apart, she had a bike crash, shoulder injury, and developed some Achilles issues.

She wanted to do her 1st Ironman and decided to join my group training for Ironman California.

We decided to start with swim technique, and she took my Swim Essentials Program. In it, we identified why her shoulder was hurting and worked to strengthen her upper body and improve her posture so that she would be able to handle the increased volume of full Ironman training. She joined my group Ironman Long Course Training Plus Classes program.

Then it was all about consistency of increasing volume on the swim, bike and run while managing achilles tenderness with run specific strength training. , and run while managing Achilles tenderness.

I’m super proud to say that Kim had a fantastic race! 13:25

Way to go, Kim, your consistency in training and hitting the long rides with Coach Dennis paid off!

    41-Year-Old PE Teacher and Triathlete

Kim has been part of the Full Circle Coaching community before and worked closely with Coach Erinne and Coach Dennis, knowing they would bring the expertise and support needed for her biggest goal yet—her first full Ironman.

    Why Full Circle Coaching?

“I chose Full Circle Coaching because of the depth of knowledge and experience Coach Erinne and Coach Dennis bring to the table. I knew I needed a structured plan and unwavering support to cross that Ironman finish line.”

  • Rockstar Hilda Lopez

    Coaches Notes:

Hilda came to me with a big, no a HUGE Dream! To Complete a 6-mile open ocean swim called El Cruce. It entails swimming from Cancun to Isla Mujeres, Mexico.

We started training last April in 2024, and we had our first swim video analysis. Hilda had a hard time swimming freestyle for a single 25 yards! I was not worried because I know what is possible when you put in the work, and that is exactly what she has done.

The improvements have been truly spectacular in less than a year. In practice now, she consistently swims sub 2 minutes/ 100 yards, and she just completed her first open-water swim at Swim for Nick—4200 meters in very rough conditions.

As part of her journey, she also completed the Lifetime Miami 13.1 with other team members and her family with my Running Essentials Program and joined my Nutrition Essentials Program.

She has lost 13 lbs. and feels energized and strong from healing her gut, eliminating toxins, and improving digestion and nutrition.

Hilda, I know we have not completed the Dream yet, but I could not help but shout from the rooftops about all of your amazing successes. You are a true inspiration to all that anything is possible when you put in the work and follow the instructions! You are a true Rockstar Runner and Swimmer—maybe a Triathlon will be next?

Thanks for choosing Full Circle Coaching for your Journey!

Meet Hilda, 41-Year-Old Real Estate Professional

Why did you choose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

I was recommended to the group by another member and after following Full Circle Coaching on social media and seeing how they were helping thier members achieve their dreams, I knew this was the group that was going to help me reach my Dream.

What is your “A” race for this season?

El Cruce Cancun- 6 mile open ocean swim from Cancun to Isla Mujeres, Mexico May 18, 2025

    What are your BIG goals?

Completing the El Cruce swim within the allowed time and then completing the swim to Alligator Lighthouse and back. AN 8 mile open water swim in the keys.

What were some of your biggest improvements in performance for each of the following? Swim, Bike, Run, and Nutrition/Health. Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved.

As part of my journey to the El Cruce, I got inspired to also sign up for the Lifetime half marathon, since others in the group and my family wanted to do it.

So, I learned how to run with proper technique and use the track and long runs to train to complete the goal. I completed the 13.1 and was very proud of myself!

I also wanted to get in better shape regarding my nutrition and lifestyle so I joined Erinne’s Nutrition Essentials Program. I have learned so mauch about how important it is to remove the toxins in our food and our environment, as well as how to eat and fuel myself with healthier sports nutrition and daily food choices. I did not knwo what is did not know. I have lost 13 lbs. I’m so happy!

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey

    1- The coaches
If it would not be for the amazing and knowledgeable coaches I would have gotten frustrated and would have given up a long time ago. They have all shown me so much not only about the different sports but about life itself.
2- The members of the group are like a family.  I love how they all are interested in what the other is doing and we all push each other along celebrating each other’s wins and being supportive to all of our  struggles.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?

I am super excited for this new journey of living healthy and active where I can be a role model for my kids.

  • Nico Rockstar

    Coaches Notes:

Coach Nico approached me looking for help with his first 70.3 back in 2021. As a member of my Triathlon Obsessed Facebook group, he had a great race (5:36:09) by implementing suggestions from the group and not being coached by me!

I was looking for an assistant coach, and Nico’s background and life journey in recovery from alcohol connected us. I have worked with many triathletes who have used the sport of triathlon for their recovery, and I believe it is an excellent tool.

Highly organized and a quick learner, he has been able to use the Full Circle Coaching tools to become a fantastic triathlete and coach for Full Circle.

I am so grateful to have you on the TEAM as a part of Full Circle Coaching. You practice what you preach, as do all of my coaches, and the results speak for themselves!

Super proud of your most recent PR of 5:31:24 at Ironman Florida 70.3. I am excited about what’s next with you and Full Circle Coaching! You are a true rockstar coach and Triathlete!

Meet Luis Nicola Aguilar a 43 year old Social Services Administrator

Why did you choose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

I wanted to become a coach and Erinne had most of the things I was looking for in terms of triathlon training, a holistic approach, and business model.

What is your “A” race for this season?

    Ironman 70.3 Florida, 2024

    What are your BIG goals?

Complete all World Major Marathons, complete a 70.3 in each continent, complete at least one full Ironman, cycle and run epic routes and trails around the planet, help many achieve their big goals inspiring and empowering them through my journey and tools that work!

What were some of your biggest improvements in performance for each of the following? Swim, Bike, Run, and Nutrition/Health. Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved.

Swim – In the beginning of 2024 I could barely swim due to a rotator injury. My pool swims are back at 1:46 per 100 yards and I completed the swim portion of a challenging 70.3 swim course in 40 minutes.
Bike – My cycling power, cadence, and overall consistency is excellent; and I improved my form to give me more power for the run.
Run –  My run is very strong, especially considering that I am carrying more mass than in the past.

Nutrition – I have changed several of my supplements and race nutrients and continue to test and try what Erinne suggests and promotes.
All these combined allowed me to improve my 70.3 time by 5 minutes in a more challenging course than my previous 70.3.

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey

The accountability and encouragement of the team and coaches.
Being observed by my co-workers and receiving feedback on form and other details that have helped improved my performance.
Maintaining a balanced approach: fatherhood, love life, family, work, training, nutrition, mental and spiritual health.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?

Triathlon helps me create the discipline I need to stay healthy, happy, and energized. It helps me structure everything in my life and it sparks my creativity. It helps me connect to my body, the environment, other people, and the God of my understanding.

It really gives me a lot of joy in so many ways!!!

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?

Just do it! The best thing that can happen is that you will find a passion that will enhance your life significantly. The worst thing is that you will not like and now you can move on to other things… but you will still gain knowledge, experience and friends.

  • Rockstar Jac Schwartz

    Coaches Notes:

Coach Jac has been with me for over 4 years. Two years in Miami after she graduated from our Alma Mater, the University of Miami, and the master’s program in Exercise Physiology, and now virtually since she moved to Colorado 2 years ago.

She had been a triathlete for five years before starting with us and was part of the triathlon team at UM, but she had no concept of training the way we do it here at Full Circle Coaching.

I am incredibly proud of her journey from intern to coach with Full Circle Coaching over the past four years. She implemented the Full Circle Coaching training and nutrition and lifestyle programs to transform her life and health entirely and become an amazing coach and triathlete, helping me with program structure and being an assistant coach at Ultimate Tri Camp.

    Her biggest accomplishments:

-Overcoming chronic foot and ankle pain with our strength and mobility protocols.
-Qualifying for Short Course Sprint Draft Legal World Championships.
    -Taking her 5k pr from 34:46 in 2019 to 22:28 in 2023!
    – 1 mile run test from 7:26 in 2020 down to a 5:42 in 2022
    – Healing her gut and immune system with the Nutrition and lifestyle program
    -PR 70.3 of 5:36
-First Time Ironman California 2024 in 11:36,

Coach Jac, I’m incredibly proud of you as a coach, a triathlete, and, most of all, as a beautiful young woman. You are living your passion in Colorado, and I’m super excited to see what’s next for you!

Meet Jac, 28-Year-Old Personal Trainer and Triathlon Coach

Why did you choose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

A plan on the internet or any old coach can provide workouts to finish a race. What they can’t do is provide the care, details, and problem solving of Full Circle Coaching!
FCC helps athletes balance life and triathlon to reach sport goals amongst the reality of life. And when troubles come up, we have the mental skills, education and knowledge to adjust for the best possible outcome. We treat people like humans and not triathlon robots.

What is your “A” race for this season?

    Ironman California, 2024

    What are your BIG goals?

    Qualify for Kona

What were some of your biggest improvements in performance for each of the following? Swim, Bike, Run, and Nutrition/Health. Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved.

Swim- being a strong swimmer and having a down river swim for my A race, I can’t say that I trained swimming intensely or improved a lot this year. But! I do swim in colder open water a lot more than I used to and FC breathing techniques have been key to mastering the cold.

Bike- this is where I have the most room for improvement. Building confidence and comfort in the aero position.

Run- I’m most proud of how far my run has evolved. I am running in zero drop shoes and racing based on Heart Rate for specific workouts. More frequent running and stacking back to back days of running to increase volume rather than one long run helped me avoid injury for Ironman. (Living a mile high in Colorado and racing at sea level also helps ;))

Nutrition– a huge part of long course racing is fueling and that was one of my big focuses this year. General life nutrition as well as tracking carbs/hour intake during training and racing is the key to success and sustained energy! Also the supplements needed to balance out the unhealthy but necessary sports nutrition products.

    PR Boulder 70.3 – 5h36
    First Ironman California- 11h36

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey

Recovery! After swimming growing up and being in triathlon for 9 years I know how to workout and work hard. Ironman training is long hours and sacrificing time and convenience to insure you’re logging the necessary hours to endure the distance of the event. But recovery is also essential! I only learned that in the last couple years that every 3-4 weeks volume and intensity needs to decrease to allow your body to absorb the training. Watching my performance chart on Training Peaks to ensure that my form would rise and fatigue would fall around once a month made a huge difference and I showed up on race day with my highest “Form” in the last 365 days. It pays off to be patient and listen to your body.

Camaraderie- Although I live in Colorado now and am a remote member of the Full Circle Coaching Tribe, training for this race with other athletes was very motivating. I’ve found that non-athletic or non-competitive people in my life couldn’t really understand WHY this goal was so important for me to sacrifice other aspects of my life for. Or why it was so important to overcome obstacles along the way rather than just quitting. Having teammates to commiserate with made the process more enjoyable, the race course a friendly place, and the achievement sweeter.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?

Triathlon achievements boost my sense of self-capability. Training is a place that I know I can put in the hard work to reach a goal. That reflects in other parts of life that I am not as confident in. If I can do an Ironman…it’s likely that I can do anything?!

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?

A triathlon, from sprint to Ironman distance, seems very daunting to complete. I remember being so nervous signing up for my first ever sprint race and feeling like I was throwing caution to the wind. I felt like that signing up for Ironman too.

Whenever I thought about the race I was so overwhelmed and questioned what I had gotten myself into “…and then I run a MARATHON…?”

Whenever I felt like that I told myself to stop and just focus on the next workout. I knew that the training program would be step by step, one day at a time, just check off the boxes.

And that by doing so all the pieces would string together and culminate in doing the seemingly impossible.

It doesn’t happen by accident, but consistency and commitment and the right support system can get you to whatever finish line you dream of!

  • Never ridden a bike? See how Yiming Finished her first Triathlon

    Coaches Notes:

I was super excited to help Yiming cross the finish line in her first triathlon and we only had 6 weeks!

I knew the Beginner Tri Program was the perfect tool to help.

We started with her biggest limiter – the Bike. She had never ridden a road bike before, and our first session was about safety, stopping and starting, turning, and riding on the road. This is SO overlooked when new cyclists start riding, and it is these life-saving skills that prevent accidents!

We fine tuned the swim and run with skills and drills.

2 Big lessons came during the sixth week in the form of overtraining and not eating enough to support her training.

At one bike session she was extremely exhausted and after finding out she was not eating before training. This is simply not sustainable as an endurance athlete. So we discussed pre- post nutrition strategies to help support the training with much better success.

Then, a few weeks in, I looked at her training peaks and saw her training MORE than I prescribed. Also a big mistake that can cause issues in the form of injury or sickness and sure enough. 2 weeks before Miami Man she got sick!

So we had to miss about 10 days of training which ended up being OK since we had gotten 4-5 solid weeks in before.

The result was a sucessful first Sprint Triathlon with a huge smile on her face.

Super proud of you Yiming! Love the new triathlon goals and can’t wait to see all the progress in 2025!

    Meet Yiming, 26-Year-Old Data Scientist

Why did you choose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

I wanted to do a sprint triathlon and 6 weeks before the Miami man race, I was still completely new to the sport.

While searching online for help to get started, I saw Full Circle Coaching’s Beginner Tri Program, (Click here for details) which seemed exactly what I needed.

I spoke to Erinne, she was very experienced and dedicated to helping athletes of all levels.

What is your “A” race for this season?

    Miami Man Sprint Triathlon

    What are your BIG goals?

My goal was to complete my first triathlon. Now that I did it, I want to get faster (get to the podium!), and also race longer.

What were some of your biggest improvements in performance for each of the following? Swim, Bike, Run, and Nutrition/Health. Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved.

Swim: Open water swimming and sighting. Streamlining, and staying straight.

Bike: I did not know how to ride a road bike before joining FCC. Erinne and FCC taught me bike handling, riding basics, and safety essentials within a couple of weeks. I felt confident and safe on my first race!

Run: Running off the bike and feeling strong.

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey

Drills and repetitions: they’re my friends when I want to master a new skill!
Proper nutrition and fuel: refuel promptly to avoid bottoming out on long workouts and on race day.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?

It excites me how multifaceted triathlon is, and how I can always keep improving, in technique, speed and endurance.

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?

  • How Anthony went from solo training to podium success in just 3 months!

    Coaches Notes:

Anthony started with us in late summer after attending a free pre-race brick warm-up and realizing how much more there is to get on the podium in a triathlon.

We got right to work with video analysis and field testing during the first week of training and started our build for the next triathlon in September.

Although great gains were made in technique and fitness, the goal of the podium was not achieved due to the typical triathlete training mentality that more is better!

We had one more chance to get that podium at Miami Man, and it came after much-needed rest the week before the race just as much as hitting all the training. A concept so overlooked by so many triathletes.

Sometimes less is more and coming into a race FULLY recovered allows the dream to be realized.

Check out all the details in the journey through Anthony;s comments below.

Anthony, I am super stoked for what you have accomplished in such a short period.

I can’t wait to see what 2025 holds for you with the birth of your 2nd son and your triathlon career! Let’s make it a good one. You are a Rockstar Triathlete!

Meet Anthony, 34-Year-Old Dietary Ingredient Manufacturer Executive

Why did you choose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

I had competed in a few triathlons but had only done solo training following an online guide but always felt like I needed further guidance.

I also loved the idea of working with teammates. After taking a pre-race clinic with Coach Erinne, I loved the methodical approach of that clinic so I did further research.

Once I got an understanding of Coach Erinne and the Full Circle program, I loved the philosophy of having a well rounded lifestyle approach to triathlon training.

Not only does Coach Erinne have the pedigree of a top class coach but she has a passion for Triathlon that is truly contagious.

My initial experience with the FCC team was that it wasn’t just about the workouts, but more so about how to work together with other like minded individuals to push for greater outputs both physically and mentally.

I decided to take the chance of joining the team and loved the technique and detail during my swim analysis and then the environment from the first group track workout.

    It just felt right.

Humans are naturally tribe animals and this tribe certainly embodies that with its care, respect and unyielding support for one another.

What is your “A” race for this season?

It was Miami Man International Triathlon

    What are your BIG goals?

My BIG goal for this season was to get on the podium in a race.

More specifically, get on the podium in an international distance race.

It has always been a dream of mine coming from a rather average and a not very athletic childhood. The other big goal of mine was to be able to be comfortable with the uncomfortable of endurance sport and longer distance training & racing.

My new BIG goals, are to stay competitive in local races and be able to have my sons see me strive for health & improvement (and hopefully see me climb on the podium), to show them anything is possible if you want it and if you work for it. And secondly, to complete an Ironman 70.3 this upcoming season and see where that new accomplishment takes me.

What were some of your biggest improvements in performance for each of the following? Swim, Bike, Run, and Nutrition/Health. Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved.

My biggest improvements came across all three disciplines of swim, bike, run, and even the fourth discipline of fueling.

I have been able to develop technique, proper form and speed/power that has surprised me.

In swimming, I went from an average of 1:55/100yd pace down to a 1:35/100yd pace during training and a 1:43/100yd during the long distances of triathlon races.

For bike, I have brought my average speeds up to 22-23mph, on a road bike (no TT bike just yet) and my average watts output to over 210 watts for over an hour.

Running is where I have most surprised myself; I ran my fastest mile ever at 6:36 pace and ran my fastest 10k at 42min during an international distance triathlon race.

But above all else, I have fallen in love with the work in track workouts, brick workouts, and open water swimming (where I had quite a bit of fear before doing the group training swims).

For fueling, I learned how to keep my engines going over longer distances. This is just the start!

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey

I think the things that have made the biggest difference are working with Coach Erinne and her ability to understand her athletes and their unique goals.

The other equally important aspect is working with teammates that are yearning for constant improvement and the push that it brings to us when training together.

Lastly, understanding that training like a maniac isn’t the right way, it’s about a strategic approach of handling training, proper recovery and having a healthy training & life balance.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?

The mental game. The physical health is the obvious and clear value that comes with training in triathlon.

However, the mental fortitude, resilience and sense of accomplishment that is built in triathlon is something that is studied in endurance sport and very clear once you do it.

It is a meditative sort of practice that yields an incredible understanding of one’s self and a perseverance to continue improving.

I hope to stay in the sport as long as I possibly can to keep improving my overall health and to pay it forward to others.

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?

Don’t second guess it. If you are looking for proper training, if you are hoping to join a team that is welcoming and that will push you to excel then dive right in.

You will not regret working with Coach Erinne, Coach Dennis, Coach Nico and the Full Circle team. Every single person I have worked with is impressive in their own right and downright wonderful people. I am very grateful to have taken the chance and I highly recommend it for anyone that’s new to the sport or experienced; your needs will be met at the level that you are at.

Also, any fears or reservations you might have of any of the three disciplines (swim, bike, run) will be overcome, I guarantee it.

  • Rockstar Lorri Bolander

    Coaches Notes:

Lorri is a true warrior. Despite getting COVID during our last 3 months of training for Ironman Florida, she was determined to do the race and finish strong.

We have been working for 1.5 years to achieve this goal and to have this setback sucked but we managed and the goal switched from finish in her best time possible which would have been 13-14 hours, it was finish before the cutoff.

Getting long-term breathing issues after COVID is mainly what held her back because she had already improved in all three sports significantly over the time we have trained together.

We kicked off the year in 2024 with Ultimate Tri Camp, which helped me and the coaches prepare Lorri for the Ironman Florida goal ahead. Nothing beats face-to-face time with an athlete since lorri lives in Key West.

From 4 Podiums, 20 lbs weight loss and finishing the Ironman. I am so Proud of you!

You are a true ROCKSTAR Triathlete Lorri

    Meet Lorri, 49-Year-Old Cosmetologist

Why did you choose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

I wanted a high level of education based triathlon training to help me achieve my goals.

What is your “A” race for this season?

    Ironman Florida, 2024

    What are your BIG goals?

    To finish strong

What were some of your biggest improvements in performance for each of the following? Swim, Bike, Run, and Nutrition/Health. Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved.

I was able to learn, understand and implement much better form in all three sports. I was able to understand my body and what it truly needs to perform at the level I wanted.

Starting with nutrition to proper technique in all 3 sports, which improved my performance in everything. I was able to get stronger and faster all around.

Swim– I went from 2:25/ 100 to 2:00/ 100 swim pace. The video analysis really helped me understand what was slowing me down in my swimming technique. I completed both the swim around Key West and Aigator Lighthouse swim in very tough conditions as part of a relay feeling so confident in my swimming ability.

Bike- I improved my pedaling mechanics on the bike and worked hard at the weekly zoom bike rides to get stronger.

Run- Having the Run video evaluation helped me get faster and stronger in the run. I went from a 10:37 1 mile test down to a 9:29 1 mile run test.

Nutrition: I learned a lot form the Nutrition Essentials course and tried things I never thought I would to increase my energy and get leaner.

Races- This past year of 2024,  I hit the podium 3 times. A year ago at Miamiman got 1st place for 1/2 ironman. Then Key West Sprint Triathlon I got 2nd place.  And the Integrity Multisport sprint race end of July I got 2nd place too!

I did go to nationals as well,  and even got a recent email I made nationals again for 2025!

Ironman Florida 2024– Despite suffering from severe long covid symptoms I was able to finish Ironman Florida with a very tough time breathing. I did not give up and fought to the end to finish before the cutoff- in 16:25.  I’m incredibly proud of this accomplishment.

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey

I enjoyed the support from the FFC community. Being in Key West I train alone so it’s nice to have a group to ask questions and hear what everyone else does . It kept me motivated when I needed the extra push and also made me feel not so alone when I had questions. The weekly zoom bike classes were also huge in building strength in power on the bike. Really felt the difference after each weeks class.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?

For me, what excited me the most about triathlon is being able to do something not everyone can do.

To push my personal limits of what I didn’t think I could ever do. To also know I have so much more in me to give.

Also that I can keep learning, keep getting stronger and keep racing no matter how old I am.

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?

If you want to learn the proper way to train and have all the support you could ask for, then Full Circle Coaching is the route you should take.

You will understand your body through the nutrition and lifestyle coaching as well as learn the proper technique that will transform your body’s capability to preform the way you always wanted it to.

As far as having COVID and the long effects for over 3 months to say it was challenging is to put in mildly. I dug deep and really had mind over matter. Even if I didn’t want to do my workouts I did them or did to my best ability. I listened to my body when I didn’t have it in me. But I fought hard to keep up my workouts and keep positive continuously. I refused to give in and I have way more determination than anything else. Because of my coaches and everything i have been training for this past year I believed in my training and I knew i had the fitness In me to do the full Ironman I had only dreamed of finishing for so many years.

With the guidance of my coaches and their belief in me I just kept going.  The support was always there. The FFC community helps keep the positive vibes a constant.

In the past year I learned so much about my body through understanding the proper nutrition I needed to lean out and to be able to perform like a true athlete.

At my leanest, I was down over 20 pounds. And it was not a difficult diet, just different than what I had before. Once I got used to its simplicity, I found new favorites and saw results quickly. It was just my new norm. I really liked it. Understanding how the body works and why certain foods work better in your body and seeing the difference during training was the best part.

It’s great to know this is information I know will always have and can always use.

  • His Results Speak for Themselves – Meet Rockstar Triathlete: Luis Carranza

    [vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

    Rockstar: Luis Caranza

    Coaches Notes:

Since we started at the beginning of the year, Luis has improved 100% in all three sports.

As a busy husband, father, and businessman who travels a lot with a goal of a 5:30 70.3, my Triathlon Transformation Program was ideal.

We started with all five of the evaluations:

    Swim Video analysis and testing
    Run video analysis and testing
Bike fit and pedaling mechanics and testing
Strength and mobility assessments, and, of course,
    Nutrition Essentials program.

From all of these assessments, I then put together a custom training program for his progressive improvement across the all three sports.

The training program, along with 24-hour access to the Full Circle Coaching Community and coaches to ask about anything and everything, reassessments every 6-8 weeks, and specific race day logistics about nutrition and pacing…

    The results speak for themselves:

    SWIM- started averaging 2:09/ 100 yards- to 1:36/ 100!

BIKE 202 watts FTP to 239 watts FTP

RUN- 7:01, 1-mile run test to a 6:27, 1-mile run test after switching from super cushion shoes to Altra zero drop shoes and improving run strength and stamina.

3 Podiums so far at both Sprint and Olympic distances.

Although we cannot continue training for the goal race in December, I am confident Luis can continue his journey to reach his goal with all the tools we have provided him over the last six months.

Congratulations Luis! You are a True Rockstar Triathlete!

    Age: 40

    Profession: Executive

Why did you choose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey? I was recommended to work with Coach Erinne after I asked other triathletes about a great coach who could prepare me for a half-ironman. She was highly recommended by many, so it was a no-brainer.

What is your “A” race for this season?
    Cartagena 70.3 Ironman, 2024

    What are your BIG goals?
I aim to obtain a sub 5:30 result at my first half ironman in Cartagena. I aim to drastically improve my swimming technique and get smarter with my nutrition.

What were some of your most significant improvements in performance for each of the following? Swim, Bike, Run, and Nutrition/Health. Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved.

I literally learned how to swim! I had to restart from scratch and learn proper form and technique with Coach Erinne. This was huge, and I have seen vast speed improvement every month. I also learned and understood how to train with training zones, with purpose, and with proper technique for all disciplines, specifically cycling and running.

I have reached the podium three times now and achieved two PRs for my sprint and Olympic distance triathlons.

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the most significant difference in your journey.
I am learning to swim correctly and use nutrition to fuel my entire race! Improving my running form and technique has made me faster and my legs much stronger.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?
It creates mental fortitude and discipline. I spend countless hours building businesses; this is a healthy way to channel all that energy so it isn’t only going into work.
I love being able to grow and challenge myself and to do it with others who are supportive and also on their own journey! And why not? Athletic improvement is also welcomed!

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?
Do it. Coach Erinne won’t let you slide. She will truly focus on you and help you improve.

The same goes for the other coaches on the team! If you are serious about taking it to the next level, join Full Circle Coaching!

  • Meet Swim Rockstar Patricia Bartholomew

    [vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

    — Coaches Notes: Trish approached me with the goal of improving her speed to complete the 8-mile Alligator Lighthouse swim as part of a relay team. We began with a comprehensive 2-hour swim video analysis, where I recorded her freestyle technique from both above and below the water, capturing every angle. Next, we evaluated her strength and mobility from head to toe, identifying areas of strength and flexibility, as well as areas that required improvement—specifically her ankles, hips, core, thoracic spine, neck, and shoulders. These key areas are crucial for enhancing swimming speed but are often overlooked in training. From this assessment, I developed a personalized training program focused on increasing her speed, strength, and endurance in the water, while also improving her mobility and strength on land. We initiated the program with a 400/200 speed test, which we retest every 6-8 weeks to track progress. Trish diligently followed her training plan, and the results have been impressive!

She improved her pace from 3:25 per 100 yards to an astonishing 2:20 per 100 yards in just a few months. But we’re not done yet! We’ve now incorporated run training, using a similar approach to what we applied for swimming. I’m incredibly proud of you, Trish! Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention—Trish lost 15 lbs along the way and looks fantastic in her Full Circle Coaching bathing suit. Keep up the amazing work, Trish!
_____ Meet Patricia 69 Year old Triathlete. I did my first triathlon at 67 years old. Triathlon helped me believe in myself and what was possible at this age.  Running is my weakest of the 3 sports and I always get pain in my piriformis. So, I decided to focus on swimming for a while.

Where were you with your swimming before Full Circle Coaching?

I was working with another coach who is a great coach but I wasn’t progressing. We did a lot of speed drills but I never got faster, only frustrated with no improvement on my 100m swim pace stuck at 3:25. I was able to swim longer but not faster. None of my Triathlon times improved.

What was holding you back? What were your goals and why? My goal was to become a faster open-water swimmer…. Which I couldn’t do with my other coach.  He recommended one of his past athletes who became a coach.  I worked with her to overcome my HUGE fear of drowning, using a wet suit, swimming in dark water, and not being eaten by an alligator. My next goal was to work with a coach who could help me prepare for the alligator Lighthouse and swim in the ocean.

How did you find Erinne? I scoured the Alligator Lighthouse website about 18 months ago to start looking for help. Earlier this year, I read someone’s post mentioning Coach Erinne. I reached out and we started working together!
Top 3 things that improved from the Full Circle Coaching swim Essentials program. I was always looking at my hands underwater and not straight down.
Breathing: with a better head position my breath work became easier. I also have been able to swim up to 7 strokes without taking a breath and this was huge for me.  Now when I swim and I am relaxed I can easily swim, breathing every 5 strokes without stressing. But I focus on breathing every 2 strokes to make sure more oxygen is coming in so I can think about my swim technique. And I alternate each lap so I am good at breathing to both sides.
Hand position: although I know to keep my hands entering the water at 11:00 and 1:00, apparently I was still crossing over.  The other coach tried to work on that with me but using the Full Circle Coaching Swim Stick-for catch-up drills was key to really improving that. it wasn’t long until I was more aware of hand placement and proper entry in the water and no longer cross over my midline.
My Catch: I am also improving my catch…. Still a long way to go but Erinne had a well-rounded pool training plan and the swim specific core strengthening, squats, lunges, planks, and pushups are helping my arms become stronger. I was missing this from my previous coaching.
My endurance improved, I can swim 3 miles nonstop. My 3:30, 100 meter pace has dropped to about 2:20 with a best time of 2:05/ 100. My technique has improved as well as my strength.

What’s Next?I am not sure about repeating the alligator, but I do want to continue with open-water swimming events and restart my Triathlon training. I always would suffer from a piriformis injury so I would have to walk the run during my triathlons…its hard to podium like that. I have started to train with Erinne to help me get back to running and continue to improve my swimming and do a 70.3 in 2025.
